Ceremonial Rattles

I began making ceremonial rattles around 2012. A friend asked me to co-lead a small gathering of friends in making rattles. Around the same time I started participating in the Inipi ceremony (sweat lodge) lead by Mi-kmaq elder Emmett Peters ( 1953 - 2014). Attending the Inipi ceremony many times a month was a life altering experience for me and I feel deep gratitude to Emmett and the Red Road community. I lead our group in making ceremonial rattles to support Emmett's family in preparation for his Wopila ceremony, commemorating his life. Since then I have made many rattles, some as gifts, others as commissions.

Please contact me if you would like me to make you a rattle, in a good way, as I know it. All my relations.
