A really satisfying project. Alissa wanted to use a raw diamond for her engagement ring stone. I created a karesansui effect. Kyle is in the Navy and wanted something that would continue to look good as it got dinged. I worked with the number 8. Although not easy to see in the image - Alissa's wedding band has eight planes, Kyle's wedding band is eight-sided and the sand effect of Alissa's wedding ring has four ridges. The number eight is auspicious in many cultures and represents stability and longevity. 18k yellow gold.
